Born in Iquique, he completed his basic and secondary education at Iquique English College, gaining a solid command of the English language. Subsequently, in 2004, he entered the law program at Universidad Arturo Prat in Iquique, earning his degree in legal sciences with highest distinction, graduating in 2008, where he excelled academically, passing his degree exam with a grade of 7.0.
In 2010, he joined the law firm Carmona Abogados y Compañía Limitada, where he continues to work to this day. He is in charge of the labor law department, serving as a litigator with extensive knowledge of individual labor legislation. Additionally, his expertise in collective labor legislation has enabled him to advise on numerous collective bargaining negotiations.
Following the implementation of Law 20.529, which established the Superintendency of Education in 2011, he was responsible for drafting numerous regulations and manuals for various educational institutions in the region to comply with the new legislative requirements. Later, in 2016, with the educational reform resulting from Law 20.845, he conducted multiple training sessions for regional stakeholders to prepare them for the upcoming reform. With his extensive knowledge in Educational Law, he is in charge of advising and defending the majority of schools in the city.
He is also responsible for the corporate and commercial law department at the law firm, participating in numerous advisory services, incorporations, modifications, transformations, mergers, liquidations, and dissolutions of various national and international companies.
He holds a diploma in Business Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
